Defeat Corpius
This should be simple enough. What can be tricky is the EMMI zone. Getting pinched by the EMMI will waste time especially due to the game over as well as the returning back and forth. One major thing to remember is that when using the Spider Magnet to escape the EMMI zone after you take out the EMMI. The blue magnetic wall comes down and the EMMI exit door is right there. You can waste time or miss it completely.
Once you have the Spider Magnet, make your way to Corpius and defeat him. Some extra tips here for speed.
- Blast his head until phase #1 is over, try not to miss, and be quick, free aim may be a better option for you.
- Phase #2 can be finished in one swift volley of 6-8 missiles at the glowing core of Corpius Tail. If you miss a shot or two, you may have lost your window.
- Phase #3 after sliding and dealing with the QTE, run all the way to the wall. Once Corpius begins his Green Vomit Trial attack, crouch down and just blast the missiles at his head. He can go down at this point and it would be very, very fast. If he doesn't, you have to take out the tail again possibly.
Defeat Kraid
Kraid himself was actually the problem for me here. This guy can kill you if your not careful and you will waste time. Also, don't forget where his lair is located. Remember the big dragon mouth from Super Metroid? Well, it is a very similar idea in Metroid Dread that leads to Kraid's Lair.
Defeat Drogyga
Drogyga is rather simple, but there are two difficult parts worth mentioning. The first is actually locating the grapple beam. It is back in Artaria, and you must use the Speed Booster in the EMMI zone. Breakthrough the walls on the left then use the beam block shaft to get to the grappling beam.
The next difficult part would be the path to Drogyga himself. You can die here if you are not careful and you can die several times. The game leaves us in a position where we will have low energy and no way to refill our energy until we reach near the boss battle. Just be patient and take out the targets slowly. Use your melee counter scarcely if you must.
