    Approach the Muramasa Statue near the Base of Mount Fuji and stock up on Health items.

    Proceed up the path to encounter and defeat green Van Gelf enemies, evading off-screen fireballs.

    Continue up the hill to find the Save Statue. Save your game if needed.

    Enter the large lava arena to face two Texas Armadillos. Use Scythe or True Dragon Sword combos on one at a time. Evade their rolling attacks with Reverse Wind. Block button is crucial.

    After defeating the Armadillos, return to the Save Statue and save your game.

    Take the pathway on the other side of the lava arena to encounter more Van Gelf enemies. Eliminate them.

    Equip the Flails or Kusari-gama to defeat the Ghost Fish enemies.
