Walkthrough

    Make your way past Muramasa's Shop to encounter baddie ninjas in the Outer Sanctum. Use walls to stay evasive and eliminate all enemies.

    Continue towards the large doorway, open the nearby chest, and kick down the door to the Inner Sanctum Hallway.

    In the Inner Sanctum Hallway, more ninjas will appear. Use walls for downward strikes and Ultimates to kill them faster.

    Open the nearby chest and continue down to the adjacent hallway.

    Do NOT wall-run across the open floorway yet. Allow ninjas to jump towards you and prepare for combat.

    Eliminate them using a pre-charged On-Land Charge.

    Now, use a wall-run across the floorway and go around the corner to the Sanctum Shrine.

  • Use a pre-charged On-Land Charge to defeat the ninjas in the open floorway.

Before jumping down to the area below, look across the ledge to see Crystal Skull #1 sitting by itself on an adjacent roof. Jump over to it and grab it, then jump down to the bottom.

    Fire up the Inferno Ninpo and unleash it to gain some Achievement Points.

    Smack up the rest of the baddies and enter the next area to find some chests. Open them up.
  3. 3
    Go up the stairs to the next area where a new enemy, the Phantom Warlock, is introduced.

    Immediately approach and eliminate the Phantom Warlock first.

    Eliminate the rest of the baddies.
  6. 6
    Open the nearby chest for your first health enhancement, the Lives of the Thousand Gods.

    Enter the Engine Room. As soon as you kick down the door, get into a defensive stance as enemies run towards you. Eliminate them.

    Use a wall-run to the next catwalk. Go up the stairs and use a pre-charged ON-LAND CHARGES on the enemies rushing towards you. One Ultimate should kill them all.

    Approach the dead body to retrieve the Obliteration Technique Scroll.

    Move forward to encounter ninjas missing some arms. Quickly use the Obliteration on them to clear the area.

    Go around the corner to find a SAVE STATUE.

    Grab the Flying Bird Technique Scroll from the dead body and use the technique to reach the top of the chasm to the next area.
Tips
  • The Phantom Warlock can create a fire pit that explodes and flings fireballs. He also disappears and reappears to attack. Eliminate him first to avoid distractions.
  • Use the Inferno Ninpo to gain Achievement Points.
  • Use a pre-charged ON-LAND CHARGES on enemies in the Engine Room; one Ultimate should kill them.

    As Ryu jumps out of the chasm, eliminate the Warlocks first, then use their Essence for Ultimates on the remaining ninjas.

    When the area is clear, DO NOT cross the bridge yet. Jump down to the river and make a right turn to the waterfall area where more ninjas show up.

    Eliminate the ninjas to clear the area.

    Go to the balcony ledge near the edge of the waterfall to find a chest with a Life of the Gods (LOTG).

    Go back towards the mini-bridge.

    Continue past the mini-bridge for more baddies. Eliminate them.

    Continue past the garden to a stairway going down.
  8. 8
    Before going around the corner to the next area, jump down to the water below and go to the end of the moat to find a little boat with a chest. Grab the goodies.

    Continue the objective.

    In the Cherry Blossom Stairway, archers are present. Block fire arrows and kill the enemies in front of you first.
Tips
  • Eliminate the Warlocks first in the Cherry Blossom Garden, then use their Essence for Ultimates.
  • Do not cross the bridge immediately after clearing the initial ninjas; explore the river area for a Life of the Gods.
  • Block fire arrows from archers while dealing with enemies in front of you.

    Move next to the cherry blossom tree and do a Bird Flip to reach a small roof ledge.

    Run up to the archers and take them down.
  3. 3
    Grab Crystal Skull #2 from the roof ledge.

    Jump down to the bottom.

    Make your way down the catwalks and jump down to the lower catwalks.
  6. 6
    Go all the way to the end of the catwalk to find a chest with a Life of the Gods (Life OTG).

    As soon as you grab the item, enemies will ambush you. Eliminate them with stylish Ultimates.

    Climb the ladder back to the top catwalk.

    Eliminate more ninjas that approach you.

    Jump and swing past the gaps to the other side.

    Go to the end to find a SAVE STATUE.
Tips
  • Use a Bird Flip to reach the roof ledge where Crystal Skull #2 is located.
  • Be prepared for an ambush immediately after collecting the Life of the Gods on the lower catwalks.
