Part 36

In the next antechamber, Chainsaw Zombies will appear. Charge for Ultimate Techniques and slice them down. Obliterate them all to clear the area.

Open the next doorway to encounter Van Gelfs. Handle them as you normally would.

After clearing the antechamber, enter the next doorway to reach The Heart Chamber.

As you enter The Heart Chamber, a group of Centaurs will emerge. Stick to the walls and let them come to you. Block their spear attacks and counter with a hard combo. A few hard combos will kill them. Use leftover Essence for an On-Land Charge Ultimate Technique (UT).

From there, make a right turn and enter the doorway.

As you enter the small room, a couple of Skull Spiders will emerge. Eliminate them all with Ultimates.

The Save Statue in the room will light up. Approach it and SAVE your game.

Notice there are THREE chests in the room. Two contain goodies, and one contains Ghost Fish. Open the chests for the goodies, then open the chest with the Ghost Fish and kill them with the Flails.

After dealing with the Ghost Fish, exit the room and enter the doorway on the opposite side of the Heart Chamber.

As you enter Web Chamber #1, you will see many webbed pouches. Each contains either zombie ninjas or a zombie Rasetsu. Attack each pouch one-by-one and eliminate the ninjas that appear using Izuna Drops for instant kills.

When fighting Rasetsu, use the On-Land Charge as much as possible within the small space to defeat them. Defeat the two Rasetsu's and then clear out the ninjas to clear the first room.

Go BACK to the Save Statue and SAVE your game.

When ready, go back to the Web Chamber and slide down the chamber to the next area.

In Web Chamber #2, clear out all the zombie ninjas and then kill the remaining Rasetsu.

Go to the end of the chamber to find a Save Statue and a dead body with arrows.

Enter the next massive chamber, the Lightning Spiral. A couple of mini-dragons will spawn; kill them with arrows.

There is a duo of chests and a dead body on the rocky spiral. Grab the goodies from the chests and dead body.

Kill off any remaining mini-dragons.

Go back to the Save Statue and SAVE your game.

Jump down the spiral to face Alexei.

Alexei's attacks are cheap and unblockable. Aggression is key. Block and evade his combos, then QUICKLY counter with a hard combo of your own. With the True Dragon Sword, one hard combo can shave off about 15% of his health.

When he uses the whirlwind, use the Reverse Wind to get through and then attack him just as he recovers. Defeat Alexei to complete the mission.

After the boss battle, take the HEART OF AZURE LIGHTNING item from the floor.

Exit the arena and use the doorway on the other side to enter the Fiend Chamber.

A handful of spider-women will appear for an ambush. Use Wind Blades Ninpo to weaken them. Approach each one while evading others and Obliterate them all.

Exit using the other doorway.
