Find Jormuntide Ignis in palworld at the No. 2 Pal Sanctuary. Learn breeding, egg hatching, and its powerful abilities.
Jormuntide Ignis is an extremely powerful Dragon and Fire type Pal. Unlike many of the other popular Pals, it doesn’t have an Alpha form roaming the map and can be caught regularly. Its habitat is at the No. 2 Pal Sanctuary near one of Lily Everheart’s Diaries. Be careful as this is a restricted area and encountering the PIDF will get you the wanted level (the star icons in the top-right showing how aggressively police pursue you). This is a strangely shaped island in the middle west end of the map. Fire and Water type Pals can be effective to catch it, but be aware that Pals in the area where it spawns are usually in the late 30s and low 40s, making catching one more of a mid to end-game challenge.

- 4Catch Jormuntide Ignis.
Alternative Method: Hatching Huge Scorching Eggs
- Locate Huge Scorching Eggs around the volcano area.
- Pick up any Huge Scorching Eggs you find.
- Hatch the egg; this takes time but has a good chance of yielding a Jormuntide Ignis. Note that a hatched Pal starts at level one.
Jormuntide Ignis Attacks:
- When caught or defeated, Jormuntide Ignis drops High Quality Pal Oil and Flame Organs.
- It has Kindling four, making it great to place at a base or take into battle.
- It has the Stormbringer Lava Dragon ability, which allows it to be ridden after you unlock the Jormuntide Ignis Saddle at level 43.
- When caught, it can usually come with the moves Tri-Lighting and Fire Ball, depending on the level.
How to Breed Jormuntide Ignis:
- Ensure you have already caught or hatched a Jormuntide Ignis.
- Pair it with another Fire type Pal in the Pal Essence Condenser.
- This will result in an egg.
- The Pal will be born knowing the Ignis Blast move and gains its first Dragon type move, Dragon Blast, at level seven.
- Be aware that the No. 2 Pal Sanctuary is a restricted area, and you will gain a wanted level if detected by the PIDF.
- Catching Jormuntide Ignis is considered a mid to end-game challenge due to the level of Pals in its spawn area.
- Hatched Pals start at level one, so they will need to be leveled up.
