Your guide to successfully completing the Bank Heist: Deposit mission in Payday 2. Learn how to grab the drill, secure loot, and escape the van.

Alright, let's get this Bank Heist: Deposit job done! This one's all about getting in, grabbing the loot from the deposit boxes, and getting out. You'll need to be quick and smart about it.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
First things first, you need to get the drill. Head to the bank's parking lot. I recommend using the side door near the parking lot entrance – it usually doesn't have cameras, which is a nice bonus for staying stealthy.
  2. 2
Once you're inside, get that thermal drill set up. While you're waiting for it to finish, there should be some loose cash in the teller room. Grab that! Your main goal here is to hit those deposit boxes and get the required amount for the objective.
  3. 3
If you've got a quick lock-picking skill, now's the time to use it to speed things up. Alternatively, if you've unlocked the Buzzsaw weapon (you need to be Reputation Level 30 for that) and have an ammo bag, it can help. Just a heads-up, though: getting close enough to buzzsaw those boxes can be tricky during intense firefights.
  4. 4
After you've hit the objective, it's time to make a run for the escape van.

Escape Van Locations:

  • The van can pop up in a few spots. Sometimes it's right in front of the main bank entrance in the parking lot.
  • Other times, it'll be directly in front of the bank's main entrance.
  • The trickiest spot is way out near the T-junction to the right of the bank's main entrance. Keep an eye out for it!

Cops and Security:

  • Expect cops to come from all directions, including the parking lot. Snipers might also be present, either in the building opposite the bank or on the roof to the right.
  • Stealth Tip: On difficulties higher than Normal, there's a security room. Taking out the guard in there is a huge help if you're trying to stay undetected.
