Master the Firestarter heist in Payday 2 with our comprehensive guide. Learn strategies for Day 1, Day 2 stealth, and Day 3 bank vault challenges to maximize your earnings.
Walkthrough
- 1Day 1: Your objective is to intercept or destroy weapons. Intercepting yields maximum money. There are two paths to the hangar, each guarded by a Mendoza. Eliminate them and proceed to the hangar, where more Mendozas await. Destroy them with extreme force. The cases are primarily in the truck (crouch to open) and some are on tables. Take all available cases if possible.
- 2Day 2: (Silencer pistol recommended) This day involves infiltrating a building to retrieve an item, similar to a stealth mission. Avoid the front door; side doors have security cameras behind them. Do not go through metal detectors; jump the front desk instead. The best stealth approach is to find the Gen Sec room on the 2nd Floor. Bain will instruct you to deactivate alarms and locate Gen Sec fuseboxes. Once deactivated, you can access the Gen Sec room, which contains the server room. Retrieve the item and exit the way you came.
- 3Day 3: This is a heist at the Harvest and Trustee bank. When attempting to drill the vault, it will electrocute you. If playing with human players, have someone on the roof before drilling to shut off the electricity. Once the vault is open, set up the camera, then use the 'Joker' ability on it and burn the contents. Move away from the fire as it will cause damage. Wait for instructions, then grab the camera and escape.
Tips
- Recommended playing with human players for better coordination.
- On Day 1, be prepared for multiple Mendoza guards in the hangar.
- On Day 2, stealth is difficult but achievable by following the Gen Sec room objective.
- On Day 3, ensure electricity is off before drilling the vault and be mindful of the fire's damage radius.
Completing the Firestarter heist yields money and experience, with maximum earnings possible through the intercept objective on Day 1.
