Master Kamoshida's Palace in Persona 5 with our walkthrough. Learn about Persona Fusion, Third Eye, and how to navigate the castle to find Kamoshida's Treasure.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
On April 20th, read 'Pirate Legend' on the train to gain three Guts points.
  2. 2
After class, return 'Pirate Legend' at the library and borrow 'Zorro, the Outlaw'.
  3. 3
Head to the school rooftop to enter Kamoshida's Palace.
  4. 4
Upon entering the Velvet Room, you'll be taught Persona Fusion. You can fuse two Personas to create a new one, but the new Persona cannot be higher level than your main character, and the ingredients are lost.
  5. 5
New Personas are registered in the Persona Compendium. You can re-summon Personas for a cost based on their stats.
  6. 6
Your Fool Confidant ranks up to level two, granting the 'Third Eye' ability. Hold L1 to activate it, highlighting interactable items like vases and boxes in yellow.
  7. 7
Exit the Velvet Room and enter the Palace. Use Third Eye to spot a yellow-highlighted urn by the door; break it for a random item.
  8. 8
Enter the room on the left and find another vase.
  9. 9
Return to the last Safe Room and enter the door at the end of the hallway to find a room with two enemies. Defeat them.
  10. 10
In the same room, find three breakable objects: two barrels and a wooden box on shelves.
  11. 11
Proceed down the next hallway, encountering another enemy.
  12. 12
Continue to a spiraling staircase. At the top, another enemy is in the hallway.
  13. 13
You'll receive a tutorial on using cover for ambushes.
  14. 14
Ignore the first locked door in the hallway and continue. Encounter another enemy around the corner.
  15. 15
At the far end of the hallway is an open door leading to a room with barred walls.
  16. 16
Use Third Eye to see footprints leading to chains. Pull the first glowing chain with no effect.
  17. 17
Follow the tracks to a second chain, which will raise the bars.
  18. 18
Enter the center and pick up the Castle Map.
  19. 19
Use the other door to enter a long hallway with more enemies.
  20. 20
Arrive in the upper area of the entrance hall. The path north is blocked by bars.
  21. 21
Head to the south end to find a climbable path.
  22. 22
Follow the path to some chandeliers. An enemy appears on the middle one. You can trick it into disappearing by returning to where you first climbed up and then coming back.
  23. 23
Make your way to the other end of the chandeliers and jump down.
  24. 24
You'll find more bars and a Safe Room (Central Hall 2F) in the next area.
  25. 25
Right outside the Safe Room is a locked chest containing a Gold Breastplate. It's recommended to skip this due to limited Lockpicks.
  26. 26
In the next hallway, you'll learn to use Third Eye to assess enemy strength (blue = lower level, yellow = same level, red = higher level).
  27. 27
Be aware of stronger enemies appearing. Look out for Troublesome Housemaid (Silky) for its Bufu (ice) spell, useful against Brutal Cavalryman (Berith) which has strong physical attacks and is weak to ice.
Tips
  • Consider splitting the Palace infiltration into two sessions due to its length and difficulty.
  • Utilize the Third Eye ability frequently to spot items and assess enemy levels.
  • Use cover to ambush enemies.
  • A Persona with the Bufu (ice) spell is highly recommended for dealing with certain enemies.
  • Castle Map
  • Fool Confidant Rank Up (Level 2) granting Third Eye ability
  • Potential for random treasure items from breakable objects
