Stats / Weaknesses:

• Weak Point: The Mireclops' feet are vulnerable when it's walking. Its 'lid' (the crystal on its back) is vulnerable after it hops in phase two.
• Attacks: It has a powerful stomp, a sweeping tongue attack, and can fling captains.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: The Mireclops is active and will stomp and use its tongue. Focus on charging its feet.
2. Phase 2 (Post-Crystal): After taking enough damage, the Mireclops will retreat and a crystal will form. It will then emerge with new attacks and a vulnerable 'lid'.

Strategy:

• Preparation: Set your spare captains to gather nearby buried Pikmin and use the Nectar eggs found behind your starting position.
• Phase 1 Takedown: Charge the Mireclops' feet with your Pikmin. This will cause it to collapse, leaving it vulnerable to more attacks. Repeat this until it enters Phase 2.
• Phase 2 Tactics: Once the crystal forms and the Mireclops re-emerges, wait for the 'lid' to give a distinct hop. This hop signals an incoming tongue scoop attack. If you get your Pikmin onto the lid just before this attack begins, you'll deal significant damage without interruption.
• Captain Management: Keep some captains away from the Mireclops. When one captain is flung or knocked away, immediately swap to another to maintain continuous damage output.
• Efficiency: In phase two, aim to defeat the Mireclops in just two 'drops' (when it's vulnerable after collapsing or being stunned). This is key to achieving the Platinum Medal time.
• Platinum Medal Target: You have 3:00 minutes to achieve the Platinum Medal.
