Welcome to Pasio, Trainer! Pokémon Masters EX is a real-time 3v3 Pokémon battle game where you team up with iconic Sync Pairs from across the Pokémon world. This guide will help you navigate the initial steps, understand the core mechanics, and set you on the path to becoming a champion in the Pokémon Masters League.

Upon launching the game for the first time, you'll be greeted by Professor Bellis, who will introduce you to the island of Pasio and the concept of Sync Pairs. You'll then be prompted to choose your initial Sync Pair, which is typically a choice between three Kanto starters. Don't worry too much about this choice, as you'll acquire many more Sync Pairs throughout your journey. The game features intuitive touch controls for navigating menus, selecting targets in battle, and activating Sync Pair moves and Sync Moves. Familiarize yourself with the main UI elements: the Home screen, which provides quick access to various game modes; the Team menu, where you manage your Sync Pairs; and the Shop, where you can acquire items and new Sync Pairs.
