Pokémon Masters EX features a wide variety of events, often rewarding players with rare items like vouchers. These events can include new battles, storylines, special log-in bonuses, and mission rewards. All events adhere to a strict schedule, starting and ending at 6 AM (UTC).

Story events focus on newly released sync pairs and often include seasonal variants for holidays.

Training events boost experience gains for specific sync pair types and make enemies weak to that type. However, no training events have been held since July 24, 2020.

Special events encompass a broad range of activities not fitting other categories, sometimes including community-based rally rewards.

Legendary events allowed players to recruit and strengthen exclusive sync pairs featuring Legendary Pokémon. This event type was retired on November 24, 2021, with all content moved to the Legendary Adventures section.

Pokémon Masters Day is a recurring event held on the 25th of each month.

Legendary Gauntlet is an endurance challenge requiring players to complete battles in different Legendary Arenas without reusing sync pairs until the challenge resets.
