Explore Pokemon TCG Live's post-game content, including swarming Pokemon, rematches with rivals Cheren and Bianca, and the challenging Battle Subway. Maximize your gameplay!

The post-game of Pokemon TCG Live offers several unique features and challenges for players to engage with after completing the main story. These include special Pokemon encounters through swarms, rematches with rivals, and the Battle Subway facility.

Swarming Pokemon

Certain Pokemon appear temporarily with a 40% encounter rate in specific routes, known as swarms. These swarming Pokemon can appear at levels similar to the area's usual encounters or at higher levels (40s/early 50s). The swarm changes daily at midnight (00:00). This feature is only available after obtaining the National Dex. To manipulate swarms, save your game, set your DS clock to 23:59, and wait for the in-game time to change to 00:00. You can check the current swarm location by visiting any gatehouse in the Unova region; the route with the swarm will be displayed on the northern wall.

The following Pokemon can swarm:

  • Farfetch'd — Route 1 (Black & White)
  • Wynaut — Route 2 (Black & White), Evolves at Level 15
  • Volbeat — Route 3 (Black)
  • Illumise — Route 3 (White)
  • Hippopotas — Route 4 (Black & White), Evolves at Level 34
  • Smeargle — Route 5 (Black & White)
  • Plusle — Route 6 (Black)
  • Minun — Route 6 (White)
  • Sentret — Route 7 (Black & White), Evolves at Level 15
  • Croagunk — Route 8 (Black & White), Evolves at Level 37
  • Houndour — Route 9 (Black), Evolves at Level 24
  • Poochyena — Route 9 (White), Evolves at Level 20
  • Tyrogue — Route 10 (Black & White), Evolves at Level 20
  • Shroomish — Route 11 (Black), Evolves at Level 23
  • Paras — Route 11 (White), Evolves at Level 24
  • Doduo — Route 12 (Black & White), Evolves at Level 31
  • Shuppet — Route 13 (Black & White), Evolves at Level 37
  • Yanma — Route 14 (Black & White), Evolves with AncientPower
  • Mankey — Route 15 (Black & White), Evolves at Level 28
  • Pineco — Route 16 (Black & White), Evolves at Level 31
  • Exeggcute — Route 18 (Black & White), Evolves with Leaf Stone

Victory Road's Final Fight

After defeating Ghetsis, you can find Cheren on Route 5. He will then proceed to Victory Road. Fly to the Pokemon League and enter Victory Road from the northernmost entrance. Cheren will be waiting by the wall. After a brief interaction with Marshal, Cheren will challenge you to a battle with his final team.

Cheren's team now includes Haxorus and Gigalith. Be cautious of Haxorus's Outrage and Dragon Gem. His starter Pokemon is equipped with a Focus Sash, preventing a one-hit knockout. You can rematch Cheren once daily.

Final Fight in Nuvema

After becoming the Pokemon Champion by defeating Alder, you can have a final battle with Bianca in Professor Juniper's lab in Nuvema Town. This battle is available on Saturday nights.

  • Rival Bianca
  • Reward: $6500

Bianca's team also consists of six Pokemon, with her starter having a Focus Sash. Her strategy primarily involves using Return to wear down opponents. This battle should not be difficult given that you have already defeated Alder. You can rematch Bianca every Saturday night.

The Battle Subway

The Battle Subway, located in Nimbasa City, replaces the Battle Tower from previous games. It functions similarly by having players face a series of trainers on different 'lines' representing various battle modes. Each line consists of seven consecutive battles. After defeating the seventh trainer, you can choose to continue to the next set of seven or return to the entrance, keeping your current streak.

The Battle Subway is in a large building in the southeast of Nimbasa City. The interior is spiral, and entrances are color-coded to indicate the battle mode:
