Facing Leon, the undefeated Champion of Galar, is the ultimate test of your skills in Pokémon Winds and Waves. His team is incredibly powerful and diverse, making a well-thought-out strategy essential for victory. Leon's ace Pokémon is his Charizard, a formidable Fire/Flying-type that can unleash devastating attacks like Blast Burn. To counter Charizard, prioritize Pokémon with strong Rock-type moves, such as those learned by Tyranitar or Gigalith. Alternatively, a fast Electric-type Pokémon like Toxtricity can outspeed and hit Charizard hard. Remember Leon's Charizard often carries a Choice Band, locking it into one powerful move, which can be exploited if you predict its attack.

Beyond Charizard, Leon's team includes a Dragapult, a fast Dragon/Ghost-type that can inflict significant damage with Dragon Darts. A Fairy-type Pokémon like Grimmsnarl or Hatterene can be effective here, resisting Dragon-type attacks and dealing super-effective damage. His Aegislash is another threat, capable of switching between offensive and defensive stances.
