Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves are the newest upcoming entries in the mainline Pokémon games and the first two introduced in Generation X. This set of games take place in a tropical region with the region being based on Indonesia and Southeast Asia. The games are available in Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, both European and Latin American Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, French, and German.

The First partner Pokémon are: Browt a Grass-type, Pombon a Fire-type, and Gecqua a Water-type.
