He seems pretty confident, maybe a little too confident. He's got a Golbat and a Gengar to start, and he's not shy about boasting. ### David's Strategy & How to Counter * Golbat: David likes to use Golbat's speed and status moves. It'll try to dodge your attacks with quick wing flaps and use moves like Supersonic to disorient you, followed by Air Slash for damage. It can also use Poison Fang to inflict poison. * Your Counter: Poliwhirl is a good choice here. While Golbat is fast, Poliwhirl's Water Pulse can help block Supersonic. Ice Beam is your main damage dealer, and even if Golbat dodges, keep trying. If it gets close, Poliwhirl's Mega Punch can pack a punch. When Golbat tries to use Poison Fang, try to hit it with Ice Beam simultaneously – it can sometimes freeze a wing, slowing it down. Then, use Body Slam while it's grounded.
