Test Chamber 8

Player 1: Go to the ledge between the red laser and the walkway. Place your first portal on the floor panel there.

Player 2: Follow Player 1 and place your portal on the ground next to Player 1's. Turn 180 degrees and place your exit portal on the slanted wall panel in front of you. Stay by the ledge.

Player 1: Turn around and place your exit portal on the lower slanted wall panel to your left. Drop into your portal to be launched towards and activate the button that launches the Displacement Cube.

Player 2: As the Displacement Cube reaches the Red Button Player 1 pushed, drop into your portal. Grab the Cube in mid-air and carry it across the gap to the platform ahead. Drop the Cube, place a portal on the wall panel in front of you (keeping the portal on the slanted wall), pick the Cube up again, and carry it through to the main platform with Player 1.

Player 1: Stand in front of the laser beam with the Displacement Cube and reflect the laser to hit the power receptor in front of the giant fan, temporarily shutting it off.

Player 1: Turn to face the left-hand wall/girders and find the angled light-colored wall panel. Leave your original entrance portal below and set your new exit portal on this slanted wall. Drop back into the lower portal to be boosted over the platform and past the fan blades.

Player 1: Enter the room to your left. Set a portal on the wall to the right of the desk, about halfway up.

Player 1: Enter the room to your right. Directly underneath the clock on the wall (opposite the window), set your second portal.

Player 2: Locate the wall panel to the right of the power receptor (it has a yellow barrier around it) and set your first portal here.

Player 2: Find the shoot-able wall panel directly opposite the office windows in the distance. Guide the laser beam through the portals so it passes through the glass into the office.

Player 1: If the laser beam hits the power receptor near you, the fan will shut off permanently. Adjust portal height/position if needed.

Player 2: Once the fan is off, drop the Cube. Set a portal on the lower platform to your right and another on the slanted wall panel behind you (opposite the giant fan).

Both Players: Pull the switches simultaneously to open the doorway. Run up the stairs, locate the disc, and place it in the slot to complete the chamber.
