Dr. Schrader's Apartment Investigation

Begin by searching Dr. Schrader's apartment for his keys. Tap on various items on the touchscreen to find them; they are located in the middle drawer of the desk.

After finding the keys, a tutorial on movement will appear. Use the shoe icon to move by tapping on arrows. Move right twice.

Proceed to Dr. Schrader's apartment complex. To identify his flat, remember that it has a flag over it and faces the rising sun. The flat with the flag is in the upper-left corner.

Speak to the man at the apartment complex. He will direct you to tap the mailbox for a special item, which is a hint coin. You can find more hint coins by tapping on objects like the street lamp base and the door awning.

Enter Dr. Schrader's flat. The door is locked and requires solving a puzzle to open.

Puzzle #003: The Right Key
Summary: You have three keys; determine which one opens the door. The solution is the bottom key, as its circular end fits the keyhole when rotated.

Upon entering, you will find the window open and Dr. Schrader deceased. A mysterious train ticket will also be discovered.

Inspector Chelmey and his assistant, Barton, will arrive. Chelmey suggests Dr. Schrader died of a heart attack due to the locked door.

Layton suspects an escape route. Examine the closed window; the ripped curtain indicates a possible escape route.

Dr. Schrader is found holding torn pieces of a photograph. Inspector Chelmey confiscates the pieces and asks you to leave.

Layton notes the absence of the Elysian Box and the presence of the train ticket, prompting the decision to investigate further by taking the train.
