Follow our guide to conquer Planet Kalebo III in Ratchet & Clank (2016)! Master the grindrail, find the Map-o-Matic, and snag that Holocard.
Alright, so you've made it to Planet Kalebo III! This planet's main challenge is a pretty intense grindrail section, so buckle up. It's a long one, and getting hit by those trains means starting all over, so we gotta be careful.
Walkthrough
- 1First things first, head back to that split path you saw earlier and take the elevator up. This will put you on the grindrail.
- 2This grindrail is no joke, kinda like the one on Batalia, but now there are trains moving towards you! You'll need to quickly hop between rails to dodge them. Warning: Getting hit by a train sends you right back to the start of the grindrail section, so stay focused!
- 3Keep an eye out for a Gold Bolt. To get it, you'll need to hit four switches to disable a forcefield. The first switch is on the first set of rails, near the end of the three-track part.
- 4You'll need to use your wrench (press left on the D-pad) to hit these switches. The final switch is right before the forcefield that guards the Gold Bolt.
- 5There are two more switches on a separate bit of track just after the first section, but before the tunnel filled with train cars. If you hit the tunnel, you've gone too far.
- 6The very last switch is right after that tunnel, and it's directly in front of the forcefield. Hit it, and the path to the Gold Bolt will open up.
- 7Once you've grabbed the Gold Bolt, finish the grindrail. At the end, you'll be rewarded with the Map-o-Matic! This is super useful; it'll show you where all the hidden collectibles are on your map.
- 8Before you head back to your ship, there's one last thing. Find the teleporter near where you got the Map-o-Matic. It'll take you to a room with a Holocard.
After that, you can catch a taxi back to your ship. You've cleared Kalebo III!
Tips
- The Map-o-Matic is a game-changer for finding all the collectibles, so make sure you grab it!
- Focus on dodging those trains on the grindrail; it's way easier to avoid them than to retry the whole section.
- Don't rush the switches for the Gold Bolt; take your time to line up your wrench throws.
