How to Beat Boss: Cyber-Samurai 'Kage'

Beat Cyber-Samurai 'Kage' in REMATCH (2025). Exploit his weakness to Electric Damage and learn his swift attack patterns in the Crimson Veil Arena.

Location: Neo-Kyoto Underbelly - 'Crimson Veil Arena'

Kage is a swift and deadly melee combatant, wielding a 'Monoblade Katana'. He is encountered during Chapter 3. His primary weakness is Electric Damage. He has two distinct phases:

Phase 1: Swift Strikes

• Attack Pattern: Kage will perform rapid three-hit combos, followed by a wide horizontal slash. He also has a 'Dash Strike' that closes distance quickly.
• Strategy: Focus on dodging his combos and counter-attacking during the brief windows after his wide slash or dash strike. Ranged Champions should maintain distance and kite him. Melee Champions should use abilities that stun or interrupt his attacks.
• Weakness: Electric damage will briefly stun him, opening him up for more attacks.

Phase 2: Shadow Clone & Overdrive

• Trigger: Kage reaches 50% health.
• New Attacks: He will summon 'Shadow Clones' that mimic his attacks but have less health. He also gains 'Overdrive', increasing his attack speed and damage.
• Strategy: Prioritize eliminating the Shadow Clones quickly, as they can overwhelm you. Use area-of-effect abilities if available. During Overdrive, focus purely on dodging and only attack when you have a clear opening. Keep applying Electric damage to maintain control.
