How to Increase Inventory Space

Increase inventory space in resident evil requiem with Hip Pouches. Purchase one for 3 Antique Coins, find others in West Wing, Basement, and ARK.

To increase inventory space in resident evil requiem, you need to acquire Hip Pouches. There are several available throughout the game:

• Parlor Room - Purchase a 2-Slot Hip Pouch for 3 Antique Coins.
• West Wing Filing Room - Unlock the Level 1 access room using the Level 1 Access Card. This card is found in the Filing Room near the Dining Hall.
• Basement - Processing Office - Located inside the Processing Office room upon reaching the Care Home Basement level via the Collection Pod route.
• ARK - Bio 5 - Found inside one of the containers within this room.

These Hip Pouches provide a total of six extra inventory spaces.

Early game Hip Pouches

The first two Hip Pouches are available relatively early. Obtain the first quartz from the Chairman’s Office and unlock the Parlor Room near the Kitchen. This should yield approximately four coins immediately, plus another two Antique coins from progressing through the West Wing.

You will receive the East Wing Keycard from the Coin Room where the purchasable Hip Pouch is located. Take this card to the East Wing and unlock it, then proceed to the East Wing Reception and go upstairs. Navigate the longer hallways, dealing with any zombies, to unlock a shortcut door. The Level 1 Keycard is found on a body upstairs. After dealing with the events there, return the keycard to the Filing Room in the West Wing to open it and gain four additional inventory slots.

The Basement Hip Pouch

This Hip Pouch becomes available as you complete the main section of the Quartz mission, placing it much later in the game. Acquiring this extra bag space is crucial if you are collecting items for crafting, as it will prevent you from losing items or needing to backtrack frequently.

ARK

The ARK is one of the final missions. Within a room referred to as Bio 5, there are several storage rooms. Opening some of the containers, particularly those near your entry point, yields rewards. This is the last pouch, granting an additional two item slots for Grace.

Leon

Leon can also obtain an inventory space upgrade by purchasing it from a supply box using credits earned in his mini-game. It is recommended to buy this early as it is relatively inexpensive considering the number of enemies encountered on his levels. Getting extra bag space is highly efficient, especially if aiming for the sub-four-hour game completion trophy.
