Discover the new features, shops, characters, and music added in the River City Girls 2 DLC, including the Lee Brothers and new gameplay options.

On 11/11/24, two bits of DLC were released for River City Girls 2. One bit was free via an update patch, and the other was paid DLC. The free content includes a new video teasing the Lee Brothers as playable characters, the ability to change your character's color during selection, and two new shops. The paid DLC adds the Lee Brothers as playable characters, a new Dojo Master, and a new song sung by their voice actors.

New Features

A new comic animation on the Title Screen Menu teases Jimmy and Billy Lee as playable characters. You can now change your character's color using the controller's Triggers during character selection. This allows you and friends to play as the same character in Online Multiplayer, though Local Play still restricts this. These features, along with a bug fix for Stat Meters (which previously appeared un-maxed when they were), are free via an Update Patch.

New Shops

Also free via an Update Patch are two new shops: "Seasons Beatings" in Crosstown's Capitol Ave and "Devil's Candy" in Uptown's Outdoor Plaza. Seasons Beatings offers rotating accessories every 2 months based on your system's clock. Devil's Candy sells unique consumables that do not affect character stats.

New Training Gym

A new Training Gym, similar to the one in Crosstown's Capitol Ave, is located in Downtown's Scrapyard Area, in the building with the "English Tear" sign. Despite the DLC Update Info calling it a Training Dojo, it functions solely as a Training Gym for testing moves against a stationary Tigerman.

New Characters

For $7.99 USD, you can purchase the Double Dragon DLC, which includes Jimmy Lee and Billy Lee as playable characters. They can be leveled to 30, have their stats raised, learn new moves at Dojos, and are integrated into the main story.

New Dojo Master

When playing as Jimmy or Billy, you may encounter the new Dojo Master, Boro, in their respective Dojos. Boro is an aesthetic change, as Jimmy and Billy still run their Dojos when entered by other characters.

New Music Track

The Double Dragon DLC also includes a new music track titled "We're the Double Dragons." This rap song, performed by the Lee Brothers' voice actors Arin Hanson and Dan Avidan, can be played on the radio at Kyoko's House or any Hideout.
