6B) Damsel Dealing Distress

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Marian is a boss who teaches patience.
• She hits hard if you're not careful.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Marian attacks with weak combos or rushes. Do not stomp her when knocked down. After depleting her first Stamina Bar, she performs a triple slam. Jump to avoid. Debris will fall; stand on it to avoid toxic sludge filling the room. Marian throws explosive oil drums; jump to debris without a target reticle and hop to avoid. After several drums, she drains the room and slams down, destroying debris.
2. Phase 2: You can hit Marian after she slams down. Her attacks are similar to Phase 1, with the addition of a ground slam/uppercut combo and a jumping shoulder slam. She may repeat the triple slam/sludge/oil drum sequence, possibly with off-center debris.
3. Phase 3: After depleting her second Stamina Bar, she repeats the triple slam/sludge/oil drum process, throwing two oil drums this time. Stay on the middle debris pile for easier evasion. This phase combines all previous elements, adding a powerful three-hit punch attack across the room. She is invincible during these punches.

Strategy:

• Do not try to stomp Marian when she is knocked down in Phase 1; she recovers quickly.
• Jump to avoid Marian's triple slam attacks in all phases.
• In the sludge/oil drum sections, jump to debris piles that do not have a target reticle and perform short hops to avoid falling oil drums.
• After Marian destroys the debris at the end of Phase 1, get in a few hits.
• During Marian's three-hit punch attack in Phase 3, do not attempt to attack her as she is invincible.
• Deplete her final Stamina Bar to unlock her as a playable character and earn the Achievement.
