Alright, so you've started your first real Venture in Saints Row (2022) and now the map's got these little icons popping up called Threats. Think of them as the new 'Gang Activity' from the older games, but way more varied. Completing them is super important because they boost your Venture income significantly!

Basically, Threats pop up in any region where you've established a Venture, and they'll also appear in the JimRob's area. Every new Venture you start adds more Threats to that region. What you gotta do for each one varies, but it almost always involves blowing something up or taking out some rivals.

Types of Threats and How to Beat Them

Here's the lowdown on the different kinds of Threats you'll run into:

• Defeat Enemies (Panteros Muscle/Idols Vandals): Sometimes, you'll just need to roll up and clear out a bunch of rival gang members. It's kinda like the @TCHA Side Hustles – just take down all the marked enemies. They might call in reinforcements, but don't worry about those; they don't count towards the objective. Just keep fighting until the main group is gone.
• Idols Stash: This one's a bit different. You'll need to find a rival gang's stash, usually hidden inside a building. Just find the door, and as soon as you get close, they'll get hostile. Your goal here isn't to fight them all off, but to survive for about two minutes until a timer runs out. Once it does, your Notoriety clears, and the Threat is done. These usually pop up in Idols territory.
• Panteros Cars: If you see this one, get ready to do some demolition. You'll have a search area on your map, and you need to find and destroy several faction vehicles, especially the ones the Panteros like. Of course, they won't let you do this easily, so expect some opposition while you're hunting down their rides.
• Destroy the Security Drones: Marshall territory is where you'll likely find these. You'll see several drones flying around, and your job is to hunt them all down and destroy them. They aren't dangerous on their own, but entering the search area usually triggers Notoriety, making your drone hunt a bit more chaotic with police attention. Take out all the drones, and your Notoriety will clear.
• Police Surveillance: This one's a bit simpler. You only need to find one specific vehicle: a police van. It's got a communications dish on top, which makes it pretty obvious, but if you miss it, it'll get a handy icon when you're close. You won't have enemies shooting at you while you search, but attacking the van will immediately give you level 3 police Notoriety. Just blast the van before the cops can really mess with you.

Why Clearing Threats Matters

Every single Threat you clear in a region gives that region's Venture a 20% boost to its hourly income. Clear all five Threats in a region, and you'll actually double that Venture's income! Plus, you get XP for each one you finish, on top of whatever you earn from the combat itself. So yeah, clearing out these Threats is a seriously good way to make bank in Saints Row (2022).
