Level 13: Unfriendly Skies

Alright, Lo Wang finds himself in a bit of a pickle, trapped in an airport with Zilla forces all around. This level can be a bit of a maze, but don't worry, we'll get you through it.

Secrets

There are a few hidden goodies in this level, so let's track them down:

1. First up, head to the north side where the pachinko machines are. Look for a switch nearby. Hit it, then hop on top of the machines. You'll need to duck into an opening above the far machine to grab some missiles.

2. After you snag the red key card from the airplane past the pachinko parlor, use it on the red access elevator. Send it back down, then head to the room with the phones, candy machine, and more pachinko machines. Look above the candy machine – a hatch should be open. Jump up, go into the duct, and shoot out the grill at the end. Inside, you'll find some caltrops, a Portable MedKit, a Riot Gun, and grenade shells.

3. Take that red access elevator down to the lower level. Head west and up the spiral staircase to Impulse Gifts. Use the cash register in the gift shop, and a secret area will open in the wall right across from you. Jump in and grab a fortune cookie.

4. Backtrack down the spiral stairs and head west into the baggage claim carousel. Go into the conveyor room until you see the Nin-Nin Airline banner on the north wall. Turn around, face the conveyor, and you'll see a baggage chute. Jump in and walk up until you reach an open area with some Baby Rippers. Turn right (south) to face the baggage compactor and a switch. Hit the switch, and a secret area will open to the left inside the compactor, holding a Grenade Launcher and a Portable MedKit. Be quick! Once you jump in, it'll start compacting, so duck into the secret area fast. Time your exit after it stops crushing for about 4 cycles.

5. After that, head back through the baggage conveyor into the claim area. As you head towards the exit, look to the right of the hallway for an air grill. Shoot it out and jump in from the edge of the carousel. Follow the duct, shoot out the grill on the other side, and jump out. Turn right (south) and head into Blue's Brews. On the west wall, there's a banner a little ways up. Jump up, push it, and a secret area opens to the right, revealing a room with a spinning Rail Gun in a Ying-Yang symbol.

6. Now, go into the yellow access door leading to the control room where you get the blue access card. Inside, you'll see a pop machine on the west side. Jump on it and turn back into the room. Look for a red button on the side of the radar panel in the center. Shoot it, then turn around on the pop machine and duck into the newly opened secret area to grab the Ripper Heart.

7. Secret Level Entrance: For the final secret, head back to the red access elevator and ride it to the main level. Exit, then hit the call switch to send it back down. Quickly hop onto the elevator before the door closes. Turn north, jump, and hit the switch to send it back up. Now, turn south and walk into the duct to grab the Nuclear Warhead. Just past it is the entrance to the secret level, Auto Maul.
