Once you reach the ceiling, break the floor to obtain the treasure: a Music Sheet. Defeat the chemist in this area and break all blocks to find a platter for healing before continuing.

You will encounter a mini-boss, the Master Chemist. He will stop at the vial rack and toss vials. Approach him and attack, or use the Flare Wand. Eventually, he will select a vial and transform into a monstrous beast. Remain on the ledge and repeatedly bounce off him when he approaches. It is advisable to jump back to the left ledge afterward, though staying on him is an option, but he will increase in speed and likely hit you. The Master Chemist will then change shelves and repeat the process. Continue attacking to defeat him.

Beyond the Master Chemist, you will find a new type of flame pot that periodically spurts flames, requiring timed movement. Grab the platter for health and magic. A sparkle in the pit indicates a fishing spot. Fish up a Troupple Fish and collect Ichor if needed.

Continue onward for gems, then ascend the ladder. In the midst of the flames above, you will battle another Green Knight. Time your jumps carefully and fall when it is safe. For the area with three pots, the Phase Locket can help reach the ladder. Before ascending the ladder, go down and hit the right wall to find a secret room.

This secret room contains flame pots from both the top and the floor. Use your Phase Locket again to navigate and collect gems and magic on your way to a Chest containing a large amount of gems. Return to the previous screen and head up.

The next room features ladders and flame urns. Bypass the first urn and defeat the approaching bunny. Ascend to the top and bounce down on the last rabbit. The platter here contains food. Head down after the top urn is finished and pass it. Drop down when safe. Use the ladder to ascend to the gems, then time your next ascent to the following screen.

Hit the checkpoint and confront a Shovel Knight clone. Defeat it, then hit the left wall for a health platter. Head left to face two more clones; the top one will likely drop down. Defeat it and proceed right. Wait for the clone at the top of the ladder to head left, then use your spark to defeat it and continue. Knock down the deposit on the wall, and to the right, you'll find several clones.

Walk under them, and they will perform a downward thrust, so be prepared to fight the first one. The next two clones jump over pits, causing them to fall to their deaths. A spider appears next; use your Phase Locket if necessary and proceed. Defeat the clone that drops down and ride the barrel upward, avoiding the chemist (the Phase Locket is useful here). Fish up the nearby sparkle for a Gold Fish, then continue.

You will arrive at the screen before the boss. Activate the checkpoint (destroy it if you have two health chalices) and then break the lower left wall for a full meal platter. Prepare to face Plague Knight.
