Alright, so the beginner's cup wraps up with Spice Mine Run on Mon Gaza. It's a pretty long course, but honestly, it's not too tough. You've got a bunch of different routes you can take, but as long as you're not messing up, you should be able to win without breaking a sweat.

First off, you'll want to pass Mars Guo – he's the favorite to win, so if you can't beat him here, you might have some practice ahead of you. Keep pushing down the speedway until you hit the first fork in the road. Pick whichever path looks good to you, and then you'll see another split. This time, the path you end up on actually depends on whether you go left or right. After that, you'll enter a whole network of paths. Don't stress too much about which ones you pick; there are tons of combinations, and you'll probably want to race it a few times to figure out which route feels fastest for you. Just keep an eye out for those mining robots – running into one will definitely slow you down. Also, try not to get stuck staring at the options and accidentally smack into a wall between paths.

Once you're past that network, you'll go down one of two tracks (one has a mining robot on it) before the path merges back together. A little further on, the road splits again, this time into three paths. They all lead to the same spot, so it doesn't really matter which one you choose, though I personally think the left one might be a hair slower. After that, you'll cruise down some roads that are pretty straightforward. The scenery changes a lot, but the track itself stays pretty consistent. Keep an eye out when you enter a tunnel, as a hovering vehicle will pass through – it's probably best to avoid it, though I'm not sure if you can actually hit it.

After a bit more racing and taking in the mining scenery, the path will split yet again. No matter which way you go, you'll end up on a path above some lava – don't worry, you won't fall in. The track will curve generally, and then you'll be back on a standard road. A couple more turns, and you'll see that glorious finish line!

Character Tip: Mars Guo is a fantastic character, especially for this race. He's incredibly fast with excellent top speed and very few drawbacks. If you need to build a significant lead, he's your guy. I find him particularly strong on planets like Mon Gaza.
