Imoen's Thief attributes and Mage potential in Sword of the Sea. Learn about her high Dexterity, Constitution, and Find Traps score.

Imoen possesses very good Thief attributes in Sword of the Sea, featuring high Dexterity and the highest useful Constitution score. Her Strength limits her to archery, but this is not a significant drawback. Her Thief abilities also develop effectively. If you acquire her late in the game, which can only happen on a subsequent playthrough, she will automatically have a Find Traps score of 100. Furthermore, she only loses five Hit Points over a given number of levels. The primary concern is that a single-classed Thief can be considered a waste, but this is addressed in the next section.

I keep Imoen in my good party as my preferred Mage. Her guaranteed inclusion in the Baldur's Gate 2 good party also gives her some advantage.
