A complete walkthrough for Tales of Berseria's Figahl Icecaps area, including enemy strategies, treasure locations, skits, and tips for navigating this early-game field map.
Walkthrough
- 1Upon awakening, you'll automatically fight a Werewolf and Eagle with Velvet. The Werewolf is weak to fire; use Searing Edge to exploit this. Remember you start with 3 souls and Break Souls heal you slightly.
- 2After the skit Washed Ashore, watch The Boy Malak's Healing Artes and The Witch's Vagaries.
- 3Open the nearby chest for 320 Gald. Save your game here to avoid re-fighting Oscar and the Drake.
- 4Exit to the next field. Figahl Icecaps features standard enemy encounters upon contact. While avoidable, doing so weakens your party.
- 5Head north until the area opens up. Check the western cliff for Rosemary.
- 6Continue north for a scene with Rokurou and Magilou.
- 7Turn around and head south along the upper level to find a chest containing a Life Bottle.
- 8Return north until you trigger the skit Prisoners' Tales.
- 9Continue north for another scene to obtain the Ten Gallon Hat.
- 10Head north to encounter a malak who returns the Compass before fleeing.
- 11Take the eastern path. Turn around when the path opens, climb the vines, and collect Sage.
- 12Continue northeast to reach Hellawes.
Tips
- The Werewolf is weak to fire. Use fire-based artes like Searing Edge to quickly defeat it.
- Break Souls can heal you slightly, so use them strategically in combat.
- Katz Boxes appear in every field/dungeon and town. They cost Katz Spirits to open and rewards are given based on the order they are opened (every other box grants a reward). Do not skip them, as rewards are sequential.
