There are several mini-games available in Tales of Berseria, such as busting balloons and playing cards. Regardless of winning or losing, you will earn Tales Coins (a form of currency) that can be used to purchase items via the Item Exchange option. Chamballoon 2
Locations: Port Zekson, Port Cadnix, Reneed, Yseult, Hellawes, Taliesin
Rules: Select a challenger and break all appearing balloons as quickly as possible. The controls are the same as a standard battle (a type of combat encounter). You earn more TL Coins on higher difficulty levels and with faster completion times.
Tips: Laphicet's Insubstaintiality arte (a special attack) is effective for Stages 4 and 5, as it can clear initial balloons and those that appear immediately after, potentially hitting two sets of balloons with one cast.
Slash Beat
Locations: Port Zekson, Port Cadnix, Reneed, Yseult, Hellawes, Taliesin
Rules: Select a challenger and inflict as much damage as possible within the time limit. Controls are the same as a standard battle, and BG (likely referring to a battle gauge or resource) is restored at the start of the round. TL Coins are awarded based on the challenger's level, damage dealt, and rank achieved.

Rules: This mini-game involves bringing the correct orders to customers. Customers awaiting orders will have speech bubbles above their heads. First, take their orders. Then, go to the counter to collect the correct orders from the head cook. Incorrect orders can be discarded by pressing Square or Triangle (buttons on a controller). Finally, deliver the right orders to the correct customers. Each successful delivery counts as a successful order. Bringing a customer the wrong order or making them wait too long results in an angry customer and a failed order. Each completed order, successful or failed, contributes to the required amount for each stage. However, you are limited in the number of failed orders before a game over occurs. Each game consists of three stages. After finishing a stage, you can choose to continue or quit. Quitting rewards TL Coins based on cleared stages. Continuing leads to the next stage with more customers and orders, but also increased difficulty.
