Street Racing is one of the four major motorsport families in The Crew 2. Unlike the first game, The Crew 2 shifts focus from illegal street racing to a more motorsport-centric environment. Players can explore the United States map and participate in various activities, including Street Races, to gain followers and increase their Status level, aiming to become a racing icon.

Players can switch between different vehicle types like cars, motorcycles, planes, and boats using the Fast Fav feature. Each vehicle type has unique physics and controls. Progression is tied to gaining followers and increasing your Status level.

Within FreeDrive, players can find various activities and skills, including Street Races. LIVE Crates are also scattered across the map, offering performance parts based on their rarity.
