REGULAR ENEMIES

Learn the stats, attack patterns, and locations of every regular enemy in Hyper Light Drifter. Master these foes to conquer the game!

Alright, let's talk about the folks you'll be running into on your journey. These aren't the big bosses, but they can still mess you up if you're not careful. Knowing their quirks is key to surviving and thriving out there. We'll go through 'em one by one so you know exactly what you're up against.

Regular Enemies:

• BLADEBOT — 4 HP. Deals 1 damage point per bullet from a distance, or 2 damage points and knocks you down if you fight them up close. Found in the Barren Hills.
• BOMBER TOAD — 2 HP. Deals 1 damage point from a distance. You'll find these in the Lake region.
• CRYSTAL BRUTE — 9 HP. Deals 1 damage point from a distance, or 2 damage points up close. They hang out in the Crystal Forest.
• CRYSTAL KNIGHT — 5 HP. Deals 1 damage point up close. Also found in the Crystal Forest.
• CRYSTAL KNIGHT PISTOLEER — 3 HP. . They're in the Crystal Forest too.
• CRYSTAL SPIDER — 1 HP. Deals 1 damage point up close and will stop you in your tracks. Found in the Crystal Forest.
• CRYSTAL WOLF — 2 HP. Deals 1 damage point up close. You'll see them in the Mountains and the Crystal Forest.
• DIRK — 3 HP. Deals 1 damage point up close. These guys are pretty common and can show up in every region.
• DIRK GUNMAN — 12 HP. . Look for them in the Barren Hills. Be warned, these can force all the Dirks in the area to attack you at the same time!
• DIRK RIFLEMAN — 2 HP. . They're found in every region.
• DIRK ROCKETEER — 5 HP. Fires homing rockets that deal 2 damage points and knock you down. These are found in the Mountains and Barren Hills. Heads up: their rockets are the only projectiles you can't deflect, and their explosions can hit other enemies too.
• LEAPER — 7 HP. Deals 2 damage points from a distance, or 1 damage point up close. They can appear in every region. Watch out, their stomping attack can hit other enemies as well!
• NINJA TOAD — 2 HP. Deals 1 damage point from a distance. You'll encounter these in the Lake region.
• PLANT BEAST — 6 HP. Deals 2 damage points and knocks you down if you get too close. Found in the Lake region.
• PLANT BEASTLING — 1 HP. Deals 1 damage point up close. These are in the Lake region and they explode after being defeated, dealing 2 damage points to anyone nearby.
• ROBOT SPIDER — 1 HP. Deals 1 damage point up close. They're found in every region.
• SLIME — 1 HP. Deals 1 damage point up close. You'll find these in the Mountains and Barren Hills.
• VULTURE — 1 HP. Deals 1 damage point up close. They're located in the Mountains.
• VULTURE ACOLYTE — 2 HP. Deals 2 damage points from a distance. Found in the Mountains.
• VULTURE SHAMAN — 5 HP. Deals 1 damage point per projectile from a distance, or 2 damage points up close. They're in the Mountains.
