Alright, so you've got the 'Herb Helper' quest! It's a pretty straightforward one in Chapter 1, and a good way to get some early resources. Basically, Archbishop Ramsen in the Cathedral at Saint-Arkh needs you to fetch some Erynflowers. Easy enough, right?

Walkthrough

First things first, head to the Cathedral in Saint-Arkh and chat with Archbishop Ramsen. He'll give you the lowdown and ask you to find five Erynflowers.

Once you've got the quest, leave Saint-Arkh heading west. You'll go through the West Sutherland Highway and then into the Isthmia Great Forest. Just keep pushing through the forest.

As you reach the end of the Isthmia Great Forest, you're going to run into a bit of a fight – three Agilatarans will ambush you.

Boss Fight Strategy: These spiders can hit hard, so it's a good idea to use Altina's Brave Order, 'Ebon Crest,' right at the start. It reflects damage for four turns, giving you some breathing room. For attacking, focus on Crafts that hit multiple enemies or deal good damage to their Break Gauge. Juna's 'Gemini Blast' is awesome because it can hit all three spiders at once. Kurt's 'Rain Slash' is also great for building up their Break Gauge. Remember to use 'Iron Will' or 'Ebon Crest' to help you survive those initial rounds!

After you've dealt with the spiders, make sure to grab the five Erynflowers scattered around the area. You'll trigger a scene after that.

Once the scene's over and you regain control, you'll get a new order called 'Divine Song.' This is super useful as it removes casting time for six turns!

Now, head back to the Cathedral. You'll bump into Elliot on the way, have a quick chat, and then go see Archbishop Ramsen to turn in the quest.

Completing 'Herb Helper' will get you the 'Heal' Quartz. This is a fantastic early-game item that grants Tear/Teara and Curia, heals the party on the field, and gives you a nice boost to HP (+600) and EP (+60). Definitely equip this!

Tips

Don't forget to use your Brave Orders! 'Ebon Crest' is your best friend against these Agilatarans.
Pay attention to the Break Gauge; getting enemies into Break status makes them much easier to deal with.
The 'Heal' Quartz you get is incredibly valuable, so make sure to put it on one of your main party members as soon as you can.
