Hey there! So, you're looking to track down all the hidden goodies in Valiant Hearts: The Great War, huh? It's a great way to really dig into the game's world. We've got a few types of things to find: Oculi (which we covered earlier), Items, Stardusts, and Confessions.

Let's talk about the 'Items' first. Honestly, most of these are pretty much useless. You'll end up with a ton of them, but since the game doesn't really have a currency system or an economy, you can't even sell them. The only reason they're technically 'collectibles' is because there's a counter at the end that shows how many treasure chests, or 'coffers,' you found in each area. If you're the type who loves filling up counters with junk, I'm afraid I can't help you find every single one – that's a quest you'll have to embark on yourself. Good luck with that!

Now, the 'Stardusts' are a different story. These are actually useful power-ups hidden throughout the world. Using them on a character gives them a permanent stat boost, which is super handy. I'll be pointing out where to find these as we go through the walkthrough. Full disclosure, though: when I finished the game, I only managed to find 31 out of the 40 available, so you might be on your own for the remaining nine!

Finally, we have the 'Confessions.' These are little slips of paper that contain some indecipherable lore. Or maybe they're decipherable, and I just haven't taken the time to figure them out yet. 1. Chapter 3: Very beginning. Fly up from the exit of the monastery.
2. Chapter 3: After the ogre battle. Fly up.
3. Chapter 3: Left of the big trunk of the Tree of Thorns.
4. Chapter 4: Above the head of a statue in the Capilli Village Well.
5. Chapter 4: Above the caves left of Capilli Village, blowin' in the wind.
6. Chapter 5: Just left of the beginning of the Plains of Rambert.
7. Chapter 5: Down in a cavern in the Plains.
8. Chapter 6: Inside Magna just below the main spider chamber.
9. Chapter 7: On the left side of the floating islands area.
10. Chapter 7: Above the magic mirror in the moon temple.
11. Chapter 8: Fly up after getting out of the dungeon cell.
12. Chapter 8: Fly up after the boss battle.
13. Chapter 9: Outside of the temple, fly up into the wind.
14. Chapter 10: In the water temple. It's kind of a little ways inside.
15. Chapter 10: Above the miniboss at the end of the water temple.
16. Chapter 10: In the Sun Temple room that's full of poison gas.
