After the cutscene, you regain control in a cell. After Alan exchanges some words with Barry, a jubilant Nightingale appears and announces that he has Alan for conspiring to murder a federal agent. However, Sheriff Breaker has had enough and tells him that she wants to speak to his superior. While they argue, Alan collapses. Over Nightingale's protests, Sarah tells Alan she is going to trust him. Nightingale pulls out his gun again but is snatched by the Dark Presence.

Follow Sarah

Pick up the Nightingale Reads the Manuscript Manuscript Page (74/91) on the floor outside the cell along with the Nightingale Attacked by the Dark Presence Manuscript Page (75/91) in the corner. Afterwards, follow Sarah to the fuse panel and wait while she turns the lights in the station back on. Next follow her into her office and grab the Flashlight, a Revolver, some Lithium Batteries and some Revolver Ammo from the desk. Turn round to find a Pump Action Shotgun and two lots of Shotgun Ammo in a cupboard. Alan explains to Sarah that he needs to find Cynthia Weaver. Sarah replies that Cynthia lives in the old power station and they can get there in the police helicopter.

Make your way to the front desk where Sarah is giving Barry instructions to notify certain people in the town as to what's happening. While they're speaking, grab the Coffee Thermos (70/100) sitting on a filing cabinet. Go into the radio room next to the cell corridor and pick up two Flares. Afterwards, wait for Sarah and follow her back down the cell corridor where she unlocks the door to the parking lot.

When you get outside, Sarah finds that the gate controls are jammed. Alan offers to go over the rooftops to find a way to get it open. Hop over the low fence on the other side of the car park and squeeze through the hole in the wire fence leading to the abandoned lot. There is a ladder on the wall but first you want to burn away a patch of darkness on the ground beneath it. Afterwards, lower the ladder and climb onto the roof.

Find a Way to Reach the Street Level

There are more patches of darkness to burn away and two Flares that you can pick up. Use the ladder on the metal cylinder to climb to the next rooftop. When you get up here, you will be attacked by birds. You may want to take them out here or drop a flare because there is a tricky bit of platforming coming up. Go to the end of the roof and climb onto some scaffolding. Leap across a gap to the next piece of scaffolding being careful not to fall to your death. When you get to the other side, ride the cradle down to street level.

Open the Gate

Head over to the gate controls and burn away the darkness from the control box. Open the box and tap X repeatedly to override the controls, opening the gate. When Sarah joins you, head up the street and use your torch to destroy the van which attacks you. Shortly after, you will be attacked by a group of Taken. Use your torch to strip away their protection and Sarah will help you take them out. When they're dead, go across the street and grab some Batteries, Revolver Ammo and three Flares from an emergency cabinet. If you duck down the nearby alley, you will find another Flare.

Go to the end of the street where the van was and run quickly across the street, avoiding been run over by the Deerfest float. Some Taken including a Heavy will appear so take them out. When the area is safe, grab the Coffee Thermos (71/100) on a ticket booth. There is a yellow arrow on the booth so go right to the end of the street where you will find a Chest (19/30) containing two Flare Guns and two rounds of Flare Gun Ammo.

Head back in the opposite direction and rejoin Sarah. Continue a short distance and look for a "Fresh Seafood" building on your right. Go through the gate and round to the side of the building where you will be attacked by a number of Taken. Use a flare to take them out and when the area is safe, go round to the back of the building where you will find another Chest (20/30) containing some Lithium Batteries, two Flare Guns and a round of Flare Gun Ammo.

Return to the street and continue making your way down. If you go down the alley to the left of the Oh Deer Diner, you can pick up two Flares, although you will also attract the attentions of two Taken who climb over the fence to attack you. Head into the diner and swap your torch for the Heavy-duty Flashlight that you find on the counter. Pick up some Revolver Ammo if you need it and go behind the counter where you will find a Coffee Thermos (72/100) on the floor.

Go over to the jukebox and pick up some Lithium Batteries on the table next to it.

Drink 'Em Both Up
If you played the jukebox in Episode 1, play it again to unlock the related trophy.

Go down the corridor at the back where you will find the Barry in the Sheriff's Station Manuscript Page (76/91) stuck to the wall.

Rejoin Sarah and head through the gate on the opposite side of the road. You will be attacked by a Taken as you make your way round to the back of the building. After dealing with it, pick up a Flare and Revolver Ammo from one table and some Lithium Batteries from another. Continue round to the back of the building and start making your way past some portable toilets. As you do so, a group of Taken led by a Heavy will attack. However, if you duck past them and press the green switch by the traffic barrier, you will create a safe haven, causing the enemies to despawn. Grab some Batteries and Revolver Ammo from an emergency cabinet before continuing.

Cross the street to a hotdog van and look on top find a Can Pyramid (9/12). Continue down the street past the Bright Falls banner where you will find a *
