The Oriental Palace is a building in Anno 1404 that functions similarly to the Oriental Embassy. It is unlocked from the Tech Tree at City Level 5.

• Available: Unlock from Tech Tree at City Level 5

The Oriental Palace's effectiveness is based on the Defence Buildings located within its influence area. While it is easier to fit defense buildings within its radius compared to the Oriental Embassy, its larger size means it may have limited utility by the time it is unlocked. The other two Level 5 upgrades are significantly more powerful and can decisively impact warfare. The Oriental Palace is generally only considered if all enemies have already been defeated, rendering the other upgrades less critical.
