Sequence 9

Make your way to the exclamation mark and talk to George Washington to begin. Head to the waypoint marker to find an abandoned church. Enter through an open window for a scene. Afterward, exit and examine nearby clues. Be aware of a large group of redcoats patrolling the area; avoid them to save time. As you find clues, the search zone will shrink. Locate the cart and the driver. After a scene, the driver will run. Optionally, tackle him within 30 seconds to complete an objective. Follow him and tackle him when possible. Proceed to the next objective marker.

Follow the cart. The easiest way is to ride in the back. For an optional objective, follow without riding. Drop to ground level and head to the rocks left of the cart. Once it moves, climb the rocks and use trees and rocks along the left side of the road to follow until it stops.

You will find yourself inside the hay cart. For an optional objective, kill three guards without being detected. Wait in the hay for a guard to patrol past and assassinate him from cover (Optional Objective 1/3). Exit and follow the eavesdrop targets north. Enter bushes and stay in cover. At the small building on the left, take cover behind the crate to its right. Wait until clear, then look left and assassinate the guard behind the crate (Optional Objective 2/3). Hop into nearby bushes and wait for the eavesdrop targets to move on. Assassinate the guard leaning on the crate to your left (Optional Objective 3/3). Follow the conversation by the water, hiding in bushes. After a scene, kill all mercenaries to complete the mission.

Travel to New York and find the exclamation mark to start. Follow your ally across rooftops until a cut-scene. Continue following him back to the ground. After another scene, you need to get a soldier's uniform. Head to the red objective marker. Wait for an isolated guard or whistle him from nearby crates, then kill him. Loot the body to wear the uniform. Optionally, kill him without being detected to complete an objective.

After the previous mission, talk to your friend on the docks to start.

Pilot the ship through the passage to an open area with a ship to the right. Investigate it.

Another ship will appear nearby; follow it. This is a chase sequence. Optionally, stay within 500 meters of the enemy schooner. Maintain speed but watch for rogue waves and lower sails only when necessary for steering.

In open water, a group of ships will ambush you. Use weapons to destroy the four ships with red markers. The ship with the golden objective marker must be taken down with chain shot and then boarded. Watch for red indicators in the water signaling incoming fire and take cover. Once the four ships are eliminated, focus on the target vessel. After a few chain shots, it will stop. Ram it to board.

While on board, optionally perform a kill streak of at least three. Kill the three officers on deck (marked with red objective markers). Once they are dead, access the lower decks. Work your way to the door on the right, enter the door at the end, and hit the attack button when prompted to complete the mission and Sequence 9.
