Memory 4: Bomb Crafting

Alright, so after securing the Imperial North Den, Yusuf's gonna show you the ropes on bomb crafting. It's pretty neat – you mix three things: a casing, gunpowder (that's for the boom size), and the really important part, the effect. The game's gonna walk you through making some Splinter Bombs and then you'll get to test them out in a virtual bomb room. Make sure you practice throwing them from a distance by locking on and hitting the ranged weapon button, and also try aiming them manually. Being able to nail a distant target with an attack bomb or use the aiming reticle for a distraction bomb is super useful for later, tougher missions. Good news is, the VR room has unlimited bombs, so go nuts and get plenty of practice before you meet Piri Reis.

Piri Reis is this awesome cartographer and demolition expert. You'll need to head to the Bazaar to find his shop and introduce yourself. He'll tell you where the Polo trading post is and give you more pointers on bomb crafting. While you're there, you can actually unlock rare bomb ingredients for purchase. To do that, you'll need to complete challenge missions he offers. Completing these challenges earns you the right to use more complex ingredients from Piri Reis himself, the master bombmaker. Just interact with the paintings to his right to start these missions.
