Field Manual #6: After the tank breaks the first barricade, head north up the mossy slope. The crate is on the right, next to a tree. A nearby cellar contains a weapons cache with a silenced Mauser pistol.

Field Manual #7: At the second checkpoint (ruined church/abbey), go to the undercroft/cellar. Find the generator in the south-west, then head to the south-east corner for the manual between beds on the north-east side.

Field Manual #8: Near the girder bridge, check underneath it on the far side. The collectible crate is behind some rocks. Weapon crates beyond this point offer heavy anti-tank equipment.

Field Manual #9: In the logging camp, the next crate is inside the small concrete pillbox bunker in the north-west corner.

Field Manual #10: From the bunker, head east across the ridge above the big bunker. The final field manual is behind wooden crates in the north-east corner of the map.

Codex Entry - Gone Chemical: Awarded for finding all five Field Manuals in this chapter.

Spark Plugs & Codex Entry - Stealing Tanks: Retrieve four spark plugs for your tank from the village. General locations are marked on the minimap. To earn the 'Stealing Tanks' codex entry, collect all four spark plugs without being detected. Use stealth principles: crouch, use lures, and stealth kills. Silenced weapons are available in some crates. The top floor of the first windmill offers a vantage point and a silenced sniper rifle. Use 'restart from checkpoint' if detected.

Codex Entry - Tank Hunters: Awarded for grabbing the first spark plug, likely from the farmyard south-east of the mill. The other three are in separate workshop yards in the village.

Field Manual #11: Head to the eastern corner of the farmyard, find a small building with a covered wood store. The manual is inside.

Field Manual #12: Continue east across the meadow and over the road to the second windmill. Go inside, up two floors; the crate is on the north side by a window. A weapon crate in a green tent nearby has a silenced M1911 pistol.

Trophy #23 - Mightier than the Shovel: Find the cavalry sword and get one kill with it. From the second mill, go south into the village and follow an alley between two walls to a house with an external lamp. The sword is on the floor in the front lobby. Be aware of a guard downstairs who might raise an alarm but can be a target. A silenced C96 pistol is in the MG room upstairs.

Field Manual #13: Continue east down the main street. Go behind the second house on the right (the one with the alarm post and German flag). The manual is located there.
