From the previous area, climb out of the pit, hop across a gap, and descend from a ledge.

You will find a ladder blocked by a green platform and a green lever to your right. This lever surveys a death pit, with the puzzle piece on a small platform at the bottom right of the pit, next to a column.

To get the piece, first hit the lever.

Climb the ladder, hop onto the green platform, and stand atop the column.

Wait a couple of seconds, then walk (do not rewind) back to the ladder and climb down.

Hit the lever again.

Now, rewind back to when you were on top of the column. You will pass through the green platform, walk on thin air, and end at the column.

You can now drop down and collect the puzzle piece.
