MW3 Zombies: Mercenary Convoy Task Guide

Alright, so you've probably seen those big armored trucks rolling around the map in MW3 Zombies and wondered what's up with them. Those are Mercenary Convoys, and taking them down is a solid way to get some good loot and complete challenges. Think of it as a mini-mission on the go!

How to Find Them:

Your best bet for spotting a Mercenary Convoy is to either look for a Mercenary Stronghold and watch for moving vehicles that aren't other players, or just keep an eye out for those distinctive armored trucks driving around. They tend to move in a roughly anti-clockwise direction around the map, but you can also find them popping up near other AI-controlled strongholds. Sometimes, in-game events can also cause more of them to spawn, so stay alert!

Taking Them Down:

When you find a convoy, you'll need to take out the enemies guarding it. Be ready, because these guys are usually armored and pack a punch. They're often called Grunts, and they've got armor that's about as thick as a single plate on your vest. There's usually a good number of them, so make sure your weapon is up to the task. If you're solo, a decent gun is a must; if you're with your squad, coordinate your push. Also, keep an eye on your ammo – these Mercenaries, especially the tougher ones, can soak up a surprising amount of bullets, so don't get caught short.

Once you've cleared out all the enemies, you'll complete the task. The best part is the loot! You'll snag precious Armor Plates for your vest, along with other weapons and goodies. Completing these convoys also helps with challenges like the Interceptor challenge, netting you XP, Blueprints, and other useful items. Plus, sometimes taking down a convoy will drop a Keycard. These are super valuable because they grant you access to more powerful Mercenary Strongholds, which are prime spots for finding better weapons, cash, and more XP to boost your next zombie run.
