Alright, so you wanna make your guns hit way harder in MW3 Zombies? That's where Pack-a-Punching comes in. It's basically a super-upgrade for your weapons, and you'll definitely need it if you plan on tackling those tougher zombie hordes and exploring the higher-tier zones.

To get your weapon Pack-a-Punched, you'll need to collect Essence by, you guessed it, mowing down zombies. The more you kill, the more Essence you get. There are three levels of Pack-a-Punch, and each one costs more Essence than the last: Level 1 will set you back 5,000 Essence, Level 2 is 10,000, and the big one, Level 3, costs 15,000 Essence.

You can check your weapon's current Pack-a-Punch level by glancing at the icon in the bottom right of your screen. Upgrading your weapon not only boosts its damage but also increases its ammo capacity. Just remember, any upgrades you make get reset when you start a new game, so you'll be grinding for Essence again each time you load in.

Where to Find Pack-a-Punch Machines

These machines are scattered all over the Zombies map, and they look like they've seen better days – pretty broken, honestly. The good news is, their locations are marked on your in-game map, so you won't be wandering around aimlessly. Keep in mind, the machines on the outer edges of the map, in the low-threat areas, will only let you upgrade your weapon to Level 1. If you want to get to Level 2 or Level 3, you'll need to venture into the medium and high-threat zones to find the corresponding machines. It's super important to get your weapon upgraded before you push into these tougher areas, otherwise, you'll find yourself getting overwhelmed pretty quickly.

Once you find a machine, just approach it and pay the Essence fee. It'll take a few seconds, but then you'll have your upgraded weapon ready to go!

MW3 Pack-a-Punch Costs

• Low Threat Area: 5,000 Essence
• Medium Threat Area: 10,000 Essence
• High Threat Area: 15,000 Essence

Just a heads-up, you can only upgrade each weapon once per threat area. So, if you want to fully max out a weapon with all three Pack-a-Punch levels, you'll need to save up more Essence and make your way into the higher-tier zones.
