Learn the best strategies and attack patterns to defeat Whip's Memory in Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin. Master his moves and exploit his weaknesses for victory.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• HP: 5000
• Weakness: Dark
• Strong Against: Holy
• Note: His attacks deal significant damage.

Attacks:

1. Whip Lash: A basic whip attack. Jump over it or move away.
2. Cross: He throws a cross. Jump over it or move away.
3. Axe: Thrown when you jump over him and he has no other immediate action. Keep moving while airborne to avoid.
4. Knife: Thrown as a counter to parallel Sub Weapons. Jump over to avoid.
5. Dash Strike: A very fast ground dash. Jump over him to evade.
6. Grand Cross: Performed when staying close to him for a period, indicated by him glowing.
7. Holy Water: Thrown to create a trailing hazard. Jump over or run away. Used when he takes enough damage.

Strategy:

• Mastered Shuriken: Effective, but MP may run out. Bring Ethers if relying solely on this.
• Nebula Whip: Offers great range for keeping distance, but damage is low.
• Heaven's Sword: Recommended over Nebula for higher, multi-hit damage. Use Offensive Form Sub Weapon for extra damage.
• Cream Pie: An excellent Dark-elemental Sub Weapon that costs little MP and can be thrown from a safe distance.
• Drop Kick (Spiked Boots): A humorous but slow method. Increase drop kick damage with Spiked Boots. Flee behind him if he pauses to avoid Axe or Grand Cross. Useful for passing time while MP regenerates for Shurikens.
