Learn the best strategies and tips to defeat Whip's Memory in Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin. Discover weaknesses and effective attack patterns.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• HP: 5000
• Weakness: Dark
• Strength: Holy

Phases:

1. Whip Lash: A basic whip attack. Jump over or move away.
2. Cross: Throws a cross. Jump over or move away.
3. Axe: Thrown when you jump over him. Keep moving in one direction while airborne.
4. Knife: Counter attack to Sub Weapons thrown parallel to the ground. Jump over.
5. Dash Strike: A fast ground dash. Jump over him.
6. Grand Cross: Performed when you stay close for a while.
7. Holy Water: Trails forward on the ground. Jump over or run away. Used when he is hurt enough.

Strategy:

• Mastered Shuriken: Effective but MP intensive. Bring Ethers.
• Nebula Whip: Good range for keeping distance, but low damage.
• Heaven's Sword: High damage, hits multiple times. Use Offensive Form Sub Weapon for added damage.
• Cream Pie: Excellent Dark damage Sub Weapon, low MP cost, and good range.
• Spiked Boots Drop Kick: A humorous but slow method. Use when MP is restoring for Shurikens. Be ready to dodge Axe or Grand Cross if he pauses.
