    Head right to find an MP Stardust. Note the sign pointing to the 'Palace of the Sun'.

    To the far right of the upper level, find !Elemental. He tasks you with finding 6 other elementals scattered across the world (2 in the forest, 2 in the plains, 2 in the sea). Their locations are at previously encountered 'shrines':
    1. Sea: Just left of !Elemental.

    Sea: Outside, between this temple and Piscean Village.

    Forest: Near the monastery.

    Forest: Right of Capilli Village in the Tree of Thorns area.

    Plains: Go right from Bolmus Populi, over and around Magna Mountain.

    Cliffs: Below the Temple of the Moon, on a floating island to the right.
Use your map to visit these locations and return to !Elemental for a token reward.
  • Go down and right from !Elemental to find a cavern with purple spikes and wind. This leads to a miniboss fight with a giant pigrat. The pigrat has approximately 1600 HP and is weak to light. It is accompanied by two skeleton horses. Grinding is recommended as enemies in this area can be tough.
  • Return to the main room and head left past the electric crystal. You will find a green gem and a sign indicating the way 'left to the palace of the sun'. Lighting these gems can help with a quest from Cynbel Sea.
  • Collectibles in this area include STARDUSTS, a MAGDUST above, and a STRSTAR down and right through a tunnel.
  • Moving left through the cavern, find CONFESSION #13 and a MAGDEFSTAR in the air.
  • Proceed through a dark cavern to another fountain. To the left is the end of the temple. However, this room also contains a secret path. Fly up from the fountain to find a fake ceiling leading to the GOLDEN RECTANGLE OF CYNBEL. This reward includes an MP Stardust and 6x Tumbled Onix Oculi, which can be combined to create larger onix oculi or SPINDLE OCULI with diamonds.
  • Left of the fountain is the boss of the water temple, a mini-boss before the main bosses of the Palace of the Sun.
    • Tips
    • Consider doing any desired backtracking for quests or other activities before reaching the point of no return, which is defeating the water monster at the end of this dungeon and before fighting the bosses in the Palace of the Sun.
    • Level 39 is recommended for the pigrat miniboss, but ample leveling opportunities exist in the water temple.
