Guide to finding all Stardusts and Confessions in Child of Light. Learn where to locate these valuable collectibles to permanently boost your stats and uncover hidden lore.

Hey there! So, you're looking to snag all the goodies in Child of Light, huh? There are a few types of things to hunt down. We've already covered Oculi, and while there are 'Items' and treasure chests ('coffers'), the guide writer isn't going to list those out. Honestly, most of the items are pretty useless and you'll end up with a ton you can't even sell since the game doesn't really have a currency system. The main draw for chests is just a counter at the end of the game, so if that's your thing, you're on your own!

The really important collectibles are Stardusts and Confessions.

Stardusts are power-ups hidden throughout the world. Using one gives a character a permanent stat boost, so these are definitely worth finding! I'll point out their locations as we go through the walkthrough. Fair warning, though – I only managed to find 31 out of 40 myself, so you might have to track down the last nine on your own.

Then there are the Confessions. These are little scraps of paper with lore on them. The writer says they're indecipherable, but maybe you'll have better luck figuring them out! I'll mention where they are during the walkthrough, but for quick reference, here's a list of all 16:

1. Chapter 3: Very beginning. Fly up from the exit of the monastery.
2. Chapter 5: Down in a cavern in the Plains of Rambert.
3. Chapter 4: Above the head of a statue in the Capilli Village Well.
4. Chapter 8: Fly up after getting out of the dungeon cell.
5. Chapter 3: After the ogre battle. Fly up.
6. Chapter 4: Above the caves left of Capilli Village, blowing in the wind.
7. Chapter 5: Just left of the beginning of the Plains of Rambert.
8. Chapter 3: Left of the big trunk of the Tree of Thorns.
9. Chapter 6: Inside Magna, just below the main spider chamber.
10. Chapter 7: Above the magic mirror in the moon temple.
11. Chapter 9: Outside of the temple, fly up into the wind.
12. Chapter 10: In the Sun Temple room that's full of poison gas.
13. Chapter 10: In the water temple. It's kind of a little ways inside.
14. Chapter 8: Fly up after the boss battle.
15. Chapter 7: On the left side of the floating islands area.
16. Chapter 10: Above the miniboss at the end of the water temple.
