5. WALKTHROUGH - CHAPTER 3 - INTO THE WEST [500]

Immediately after the boss room, turn around and fly up and to the right. You'll find CONFESSION #1 falling from the sky. It seems these collectibles might appear after boss fights.

Now that you can fly, the world feels much more open! This means there are more secrets to find, but it also makes it a bit trickier for me to guide you to every single one. Don't worry too much about missing chests, though, as HP and MP recovery items called Wishes are plentiful.

Head left from your current position to meet a new party member, the jester RUBELLA. She's looking for her brother and joins your party, bringing the item RUBELLA'S PLIGHT. Rubella has access to powerful magic, including healing, buffs, and revival spells. She also boasts higher defenses and HP than Aurora, suggesting combat difficulty will soon increase. It's time to test her out! Try not to rely solely on flying to avoid enemies; it's usually not the best strategy.

If you head down and right from Rubella's location and hug the wall, you'll find a MAGIC POWER STARDUST. These items permanently increase your stats.

As you continue left, you'll encounter new enemies. Watch out for a flying foe vulnerable to fire, with about 50 HP, and spiders, also weak to fire. Remember to equip the fire oculi on your weapon for extra firepower! There's also a wolf enemy with around 70 HP that doesn't seem to have any elemental weaknesses, which is a bit of a bummer.

From where you met Rubella, keep going left until you reach another treehouse. Go down and then left towards a flying enemy. You can circle around this area to access a secret zone. Inside, down and to the left, you'll find an HP STARDUST, another item that permanently boosts your stats.

Back outside, there are more chests scattered around. You can enter a tree with thorns (not the main Tree of Thorns you're looking for) to find a STRENGTH STARDUST. Be careful not to fly directly into any thorns!

If you backtrack past the treehouse where you found your sword, you can locate the ROUGH EMERALD OCULI, which will grant your weapon lightning power.

Eventually, you'll make your way back to the altar and pass it to find the true Tree of Thorns. Almost immediately, you'll face the OGRE boss. My party was around levels 9 and 12 when I fought this boss, and it wasn't too difficult.
