Build your base and train a sniper to scout across the bridge. Use your starting mortar crew or a Caliope Sherman to destroy AA guns and MG crews across the bridge. Capture the point with your rifle squad and build an OP (Forward Operations Building). Once the area is secure, send an engineer crew to repair structures, including the bridge. Use your sniper and Sherman to provide cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) for your engineers.

Once the bridge is repaired, consolidate your troops behind it. To earn the medal, do not capture the town center at any point. Capturing it will make the map spawn many enemy units and spread out the three German rocket crews.

Instead of attacking the town center, go left and split your army into two. Keep a smaller force by the bridge (do not cross it), consisting of at least one AT (Anti-Tank) gun and one MG (Machine Gun) squad.

Proceed slowly to the left, capturing all points. Enemy resistance will be minimal, but watch out for occasional Panzer patrols. Deploy Airborne squads and upgrade them with bazookas. Minimize munition (ammo) consumption; only use satchel charges if absolutely necessary.

The northernmost area is the Axis HQ, which is the medal objective. Flanking left avoids spawning additional German units in uncaptured areas and keeps the three German rocket crews (one by the graveyard, one by the HQ, one on the right) more manageable. If you capture the graveyard area before they spawn, the graveyard rocket will deploy near the Axis HQ, allowing you to target two rockets simultaneously.

The Axis HQ is heavily defended with 88 guns and AT guns on the main street, along with suicidal rocket droids (Goliaths). These bots deal significant damage, so avoid them or destroy them quickly. Taking the HQ directly will cause too many casualties and effort, especially with your other army defending the town center from bombardment. The Axis HQ requires approximately 3 Caliope rocket barrages to destroy, and each rocket emplacement requires about one barrage.

While attacking the Axis HQ, reinforce the area by the town center. This area will be under constant rocket bombardment until all three rocket launchers are destroyed. Minimize troop concentration here. Building an OP is too risky as it can be easily destroyed. Use one or two MG squads to cover the point, eliminating any enemy squads attempting to capture it. Deploy an AT tank to deal with armored units and watch the road for Goliaths. Setting up a forward barracks in this area is helpful. Reinforce with Shermans if possible, as they can withstand significant punishment. Send your Sherman to assist the other army once the town center is less hectic.

After destroying the Axis HQ, move right to eliminate the last rocket emplacement. Once all these threats are dealt with, link your armies together. The mission will become much easier.

The point immediately left of the town center will be heavily contested. Build defenses early and try to hold this point for as long as possible, as it connects to your other captured points.

The rightmost Nebelwerfer (rocket launcher) can be rushed by a lone Sherman. Once the Sherman is destroyed, pull it back for repairs. After achieving all other objectives, return to the forward area with your Airborne and Sherman support to destroy any Axis production buildings using satchel charges or Caliope Sherman barrages.
