How to Beat The Blight Lord (Corrupted Heartlands)

Defeat The Blight Lord in Cronos: The New Dawn by mastering its three phases. Learn to dodge Blighted Swipe and avoid Corrupting Spikes AoE attacks.

The Blight Lord is a formidable foe, a manifestation of the Corruption itself. This fight has three distinct phases. Phase 1: It uses 'Corrupting Spikes' (AoE ground attack, move out of glowing areas), 'Blighted Swipe' (melee attack, dodge), and 'Summon Corrupted Minions'. Phase 2 (below 70% health): It gains 'Blight Nova', a large AoE explosion that leaves behind damaging pools. It also becomes more aggressive. Phase 3 (below 30% health): It becomes enraged, increasing its attack speed and damage. It also gains 'Soul Drain', a channeled attack that heals it unless interrupted. Weakness: Fire damage and Holy damage. Strategy: Maintain distance in Phase 1, focus on dodging spikes. In Phase 2, prioritize avoiding the Nova and its lingering pools. In Phase 3, interrupt Soul Drain at all costs. Use Fire or Holy enchantments. Rewards: 5000 XP, 1500 Gold, 'Heart of Corruption' (legendary crafting material), 'Blight Lord's Greatsword' or 'Blight Lord's Staff'.
