The Armageddon Blade

Follow this guide to locate all seven pieces of the Armageddon Blade in Darksiders. We'll help you navigate Leviathan's Drift, Drowned Pass, The Crossroads, and The Choking Grounds.

Alright, so you've got a new mission: find the seven pieces of the Armageddon Blade and bring 'em to Ulthane. First things first, put on your Mask of Shadows and cross that invisible bridge right in front of you. That'll get you the first piece of the Armageddon Blade Shard [1/7].

Now, head to the nearest Vulgrim Location and use a Serpent Hole to warp over to Anvil's Ford. Have a quick chat with Ulthane, and then it's back to business finding the rest of the shards. You'll notice some new golden icons popping up on your map – those are the Armageddon Blade Shards!

Let's hit up Vulgrim again and use those Serpent Holes to get around. We'll start with Drowned Pass.

Drowned Pass

If you just zipped in via Serpent Hole, you'll see the Armageddon Blade Shard sitting pretty on top of the building to your left. But hold up! Before you grab it, check out the grapple points nearby. Use your Abyssal Chain to cross the gap and snag a Life Stone Shard from a chest.

Over to the right of where you found that Life Stone Shard, there's another platform blocked by a blue crystal. Dive into the water, find the tunnel underneath, and swim to the top. Blast that blue crystal with your Gauntlet to reveal a chest with a Wrath Shard inside.

Now, swim to the building furthest from the Vulgrim Location. Head to the top floor, slap on your Mask of Shadows, and you'll spot an invisible grapple point. Use your Chain to get up higher, then make your way across to the next rooftop to grab the second Armageddon Blade Shard [2/7].

Before we bounce, let's snag another chest. See that raiseable platform on the west side of the lake? Swim over, hit the crystal with your blade to raise it, then head up the ramp. Jump onto the platform and then across to the ledge opposite to find a chest with a Life Stone Shard.

Head into the tunnel behind where the Gatekeeper used to hang out. Look to your right for a blue crystal. Smash it, then explore a little alcove further down on the left – there's a chest with a Wrath Shard in it.

Alright, we're done here! Hop into a Vulgrim Location Serpent Hole and warp to The Crossroads.

The Crossroads

From the Vulgrim Location, mask on! Look southwest – you'll see an invisible Shadow Flight geyser. Use it to reach the platform above, then follow it left. Use the next invisible geyser to jump to a dangling grapple point, swing across to the next building, and then use the invisible geyser there to reach the upper balcony. Follow that to the end to snag the third Armageddon Blade Shard [3/7].

While we're here, let's grab a couple of nearby collectibles. From the Vulgrim Location, head north up the road. At the end, look left for a blue crystal. Blast it with your Gauntlet, and inside a chest you'll find the Enhancement – Hellfire.

Now, enter the building behind Vulgrim. On the right side of the big room, there's a broken shelf you can climb. Up there, you'll see a broken bridge with an Artefact: Soldier on the other side. Jump the gap, grab it, and head back to the top of the bookcase. Run to the end of the platform, and you'll find some grapple points. Swing across to the far wall and enter a small hallway with a chest containing a Wrath Shard.

The Choking Grounds

Make your way back to where you met the Gatekeeper in this area. Just before the exit he was guarding, and to the left, there's a small hole in the building on the side of the road. Drop down and use the Shadow Flight geyser to reach the second level. Smash the blue crystal there to find a chest with a Life Stone Shard.

Use the demonic growth to go up even further. Then, move to the pile of debris in the corner and use your Abyssal Chain to hook onto the demonic growth through the hole in the ceiling above.

Put on your Mask of Shadows and find the invisible Shadow Flight geyser. Use it to reach the rooftop, then just walk over and grab the fourth Armageddon Blade Shard [4/7].

Before you leave, head back to where the Gatekeeper was. In the passage leading to the Broken Stair, you'll need to use your Shadow Flight ability to cross a gap – there are two geysers there. Instead of crossing, drop down the gap and use your Gauntlet to destroy the blue crystal. Behind it, you'll find an Artefact: Champion. Continue through the tunnel to the Broken Stair.
