Complete Dead Space Chapter 12 walkthrough, including objectives like bringing the Loader to the Shuttle Door and restoring power to bridges.
Walkthrough
- 1From the Landing Pad, go around the right side of the ship to find a power node and other items.
- 2Enter the Living Space through the doorway in the corner. Go left into the control room for boxes, a conductor, and an audio log.
- 3Return to the middle area to store items, sell conductors, buy nodes if desired, and upgrade at the bench. Save your game.
- 4Go back outside and slide the cart to the back of the ship. Press the computer button, slide the cart back to the end, and place it on the electric pad.
- 5Once the cart is locked in place, enter the room and look to the right. Deal with the two infectors in the room. Stomp the limbs off the four bodies in the main room, and use stasis to freeze enemies if needed.
- 6Open the door and kill both infectors; one may slip into a vent. Collect box items, then pull the battery outside.
- 7Open doors and go through to bring the battery outside. Kill the divider first.
- 8Put the block into the slot to open the nearby door. Save your game and bring a spare power node.
- 9Go through the door into the Supply Depot and get by the panel. Pull the cart over to the next shutter and press the button. Go through the next door.
- 10Press the control to lift a bridge, freeze it with stasis, and push the Marker through. Fight the enemies that drop.
- 11From where you entered the room, cross the bridge to the right and push the marker past the first bridge. Move up the long walkway.
- 12Defend against super slashers, normal lurkers, and exploders that attack from the other end of the walkway and across the middle bridge. Use the line gun and stasis.
- 13After the first wave, continue moving the Marker along the track as lurkers drop.
- 14Move the Marker to the shutter door on the left side of the room to face a final wave of four exploders.
- 15Collect items, including a conductor in the corner and a power node in a room with tons of ammo.
- 16Push the Marker along and into the next airlock and into the next room.
- 17In the Gravity Control area, deal with two guardians spitting out eggs. Go left to refill on items if low on ammo. Hide behind pillars near the beasts and shoot their tentacles. Use two force blasts to retract the tentacles of the eggs to save ammo.
- 18Use the recharge, store, and save point. Sell, store, and buy at the shop, save, then enter the door on the side.
- 19In the Gravity Tube, grab the box to the left of the door. Walk so the curves in the tube go left or right, not up or down.
- 20Face a leaper and a lurker around the first two turns. Jump through an opening in some bars, then jump down to the bottom for two boxes, a recharge, and the panel to turn on the power.
- 21Use stasis to get past the first fan blade. Use the line gun to face a leaper and two lurkers; freeze lurkers if needed.
- 22Get past one more fan blade. Use a stasis pack if you have three, or use one when needed.
- 23Defeat the super brute by aiming for its shoulders, using stasis freezes, line gun cuts, and mines. Recharge if needed. Shop around if desired, save, and move the Marker to the next area. Get 6 portions of plasma energy from the store if you don't have much.
- 24In Gravity Tether Operations B, collect items in the corners, including a power node, then move the Marker along.
- 25In the Pedestal Chamber, collect items on either side. Enemies may attack from the vents.
- 26As you approach the bridge, three arms will rise and pound. Shoot them while fighting off enemies from the vents.
- 27Bring the Marker up the track to the end. Ensure no more enemies are present (a lurker may appear), then press the button. Stay by the panel as the cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) plays.
- 28After the cutscene, go into the side chamber.
- 29Return to the Shuttle.
Tips
- You can shoot both guardians and their eggs from the middle room in Gravity Control if you can handle the long range.
- The debris in the Gravity Tube is caused by fan blades, not the tube moving.
- The Marker cut the tethers holding the piece of rock up in the sky, which is part of the planet.
